The Desire to Receive is very small in an angel. This is because angels remain close to the Light of the Creator, which makes it very difficult for them to perform negative actions. They’ve tasted the Light, and near the Light is where they want to stay.

Everything has both a positive and negative aspect. The Zohar asks: “how can we judge anything to be bad if we can take from it a piece of beauty?” It doesn’t matter how negative something appears to be; we can always turn it into something beautiful.
